Migos
    • Biography

Atlanta trio Migos—made up of Offset, Quavo, and Takeoff—grew up together and started making music around 2009. The three cousins grew quite a buzz in the Atlanta rap scene and—much like the rest of the ATL’s rising stars—Migos found a mentor in Gucci Mane. In 2012, they released the mixtape No Label, but it wasn’t until 2013’s YRN that put them in the spotlight as some of the most promising rising MCs. Thanks to the hit single “Versace”—and a remix from Drake—Migos skyrocketed to stardom, sprinkling their triplet flows all over hip-hop. Their debut album, Yung Rich Nation, was released in July 2015, but it was Culture, their second release two years later, that found them chart-topping success. The album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, and its lead single, “Bad and Boujee,” hit No. 1 on the Hot 100. Recently, Migos signed a deal with Motown and Capitol Records along with Quality Control and dropped Culture II in January 2018.
